Surely it's just a volume thing for the manufacturers; no doubt it's a great camera, just hard to see why anyone who is already invested in another system would switch.
One manufacturer told me there wasn't enough demand... that's sort of self fulfilling since we're not going to buy cameras that do not have casings... The K7 was really nice and tropicalised...

My guess is that the DiveRoss guys will build one, they support most of the other Pentax systems. As for demand, the camera is not going to be one of the mainstream digital cameras out there (it costs a lot) for a long time and UW use will be miniscule.
