I have to say watching the BBC Human Planet episode 1: Oceans: In the Blue, I noticed this series gives great insight into human life and its relationship to the oceans, without anthropomorphic tendencies. I applaud Dale Templar, the series producer, for maintaining an even eye in bringing us this awesome series.
The other segments of note was the dolphins helping the Brazilian fishermen hunt mullet is an awesome reminder of symbiotic relationships, much like the Yunnan fishermen with Cormorants and the Irrawaddy dolphins and Myanmar fishermen . Then again the very sad reminder of what industrialized fishing has done to shark populations in PNG and the struggles of a shark caller!
The Pa-aling divers is a grave reminder of the perils of compressor diving, risking DCS just to make a living. Then there's the Bajau Laut segment, which highlights the amazing sea gypsies adapting to life on the sea. Definitely worth watching!

Oh btw, Simon Enderby and Roger Munns from Scubazoo were the cameramen for the much of the uw segments. The behind the scenes segment is shocking! Simon, you have got to be mad!
