  1. FS: 17" MacBook Pro

I am not traveling as much in the coming year or so, so I'm selling souped-up workhorse MacBook Pro.

    Specs:

    MacBook Pro, 17-inch, Aluminium

    Part Number: Z0G5

    2.93GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

    17-inch Hi-Resolution Glossy Widescreen Display (1920x1200)

Backlit Keyboard (English) / User's Guide

    8GB 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM

3 year AppleCare warranty (expires April 2012)

    Power adapter

Screen protector cloth (fits between keyboard and LCD when you close computer)

Sonnet 21-in-1 ExpressCard34 card reader (SD and more)

It is in very good condition (a few tiny scratches on the surface -- not too noticeable). Screen is perfect. Those of you who know me personally know that I treat my gear very well. I bought Apple Care, so you have a warranty until April of 2012.

The machine is currently configured with two Intel X25-M solid state drives in it, which makes the disk performance ridiculously fast.

I'll configure it to one of the following specifications (in order of preference. since it currently has two SSD drives installed in it):

    1.

    2 x Intel X25-M 160GB SSD (well-reviewed solid state drive)

    (320GB total)

SuperDrive 8x (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW) in external enclosure (bootable)

    $2,300

    2.

    SuperDrive 8x (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)

    (1) Intel X25-M 160GB SSD (well-reviewed solid state drive)

    $2,050

    3.

    SuperDrive 8x (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)

    320GB Serial ATA Drive @ 7200 rpm

    $1,800

Will come with fresh, updated install of Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard, with iLife and iWork. Price does not include shipping. Would prefer domestic (USA) sale.
