  2. Cal,

    They are lovely!

The light in number 4 is stunning. Is this shot in mono, if not, how did you process it and keep the tonal range?

    Thanks for sharing

    Adam

  3. Thanks Adam!

It was shot as a raw file , not in mono. I used lightroom for tonal control then exported to cs4 and used Nik Silver FX pro for the BW conversion. Its the only way to do BW decently....... Silver FX pro is a must have plugin

    Cheers!

  4. I'm really liking #3 Cal. What is above the surface that's breaking up the light so much? Is it filtering through the trees?

    Nice partner,

    Steve

  5. Thanks Steve!

The lights hitting the canopy leaves which makes for the great light rays/contrast but also I went shooting at around 4pm when the sun is quite low in the horizion which gives even better light rays.

    Cheers

  6. A few more

  7. beautiful Cal,

ps. theres a space in no. 4 and no. 7 just waiting to be occupied by a salt water croc....one of your models.....or failing that....a large cane toad...

    what do you think?

Damo - you nailed it! I actually shot these while location scouting for a shoot for models. I've got two girls lined up to shoot today! should be fun!
