FS: Sea and Sea aluminum housing for the Nikon D200

  1. I used this housing as a backup to my main housing. It was infrequently used and is in perfect working condition. It includes standard ULCS dovetail shoes (I can take these out and include the stock Sea and Sea shoes if you wish) and comes with an EO bulkhead.

The EO bulkhead is for use with strobes that use EO sync cords, which are older, underwater pluggable cords used by more experienced professional underwater photographers :P . Most underwater flash units will allow EO cables to be used on them, but you need to have the cables made by an underwater technician, and they can be expensive. I have Ikelite Substrobe 200 underwater flash units that work with EO cables in case you need strobes.

If you wish this housing to be converted back to the standard Nikonos V bulkheads, this can be easily done by an underwater technician at your cost. I recommend Ryan Canon at Reef Photo to do this; it should cost less than $150.

I also have an Inon 90-degree viewfinder that I can sell with this housing

    Prices:

underwater housing as is, with TLC shoes and EO bulkhead: $1350.

underwater housing with Sea and Sea shoes and EO bulkhead: $1300

underwater housing with Sea and Sea shoes and no bulkhead: $1200. Add two standard ULCS shoes for $50 total.

Inon 90-degree viewfiner (will require installation by a technician at their cost): brand new in box: $450

Included with the housing is a bracket made by Pacific Camera Repair that allows this housing to be mounted on a tripod. The Really Right Stuff plate is not included. The bracket adds a standard 1/4-20 tripod mounting hole to the bottom of the housing.

More images of the housing can be seen at:

If you are interested, please contact Norbert Wu at temp1_at_norbertwu.com. Please no phone calls. I am happy to entertain other offers. I can accept Paypal, money orders, and personal checks. Money orders and personal checks will have to clear my bank before the product is shipped; which can take up to three weeks. Shipping will be at buyer's expense (at actual cost) and will be UPS Ground, Fedex Ground, or USPS Priority Mail (all of which give tracking of packages). If we conclude a deal, I'll give you a quote for shipping via one of the above methods.

    Thanks!
