Has anyone tried Rain X on acrylic dome ports? I have used it on my helmet visor and dont get any strange glare or "rainbows". Just wondering if there is any chance of damage.

Has anyone tried Rain X on acrylic dome ports? I have used it on my helmet visor and dont get any strange glare or "rainbows". Just wondering if there is any chance of damage.
Don't do it, there is a significant chance of damage. My guess is that your helmet visor is polycarbonate and not acrylic. In any case, the RainX That being said, there is a marine version that supposedly is safe for acrylic but I would be very careful.
