  1. Some footage from our trip to Mexico and some of the beautiful caves they have there:

  2. Some beautiful footage. Always wanted to certify for caves but San Diego, Ca doesn't have any. Noticed a very fuzzy section at 1:41, was this due to a thermacline or were you usiing auto focus? Also noticed that you were in drysuits. I thought the water there would be very warm.

    Very nice.

  3. Thanks for that. It really brought it alive for me. Not a place to have a panic attack.

Too bad Vimeo sucks at full screen (1920x1200) for me.

The fuzzy section is the halocline, where salt water meets the fresh. When disturbed by divers they mix, so what you are seeing is me going into the halocline and then exiting at the end of clip. Nothing wrong with the camera  We use drysuits but it is not really required for the kind of exposures we were doing. You can use whatever you are comfortable with but some of the systems in Mexico have an average depth of 5 meters allowing for long exposures. 2 to 3 hour dives are common.

  5. Very nice and thanks for sharing...impressive and vibrant!

  6. Very beautiful footage.

The leader of the group deploying the primary reel, using the same fins I use (Hollis F1) :) , brings me a lot of good memories about my cave training in Mexico, hope to come back soon.

    Thanks a lot for sharing.
