Ultimate wreck diving paradise--Truk(Chuuk) lagoon

  1. The best ultimate wreck diving paradise---Truk ( Chuuk ) lagoon , more than 20 divable wrecks ( for recreational divers ) , diving with blue lagoon dive shop ( BLDS ) is the best choice , because some wrecks ( Hanakawa , Sinkoku , Fujikawa... Maru ) need 2-4 dives . only land ( resort )-based diving operation is possible. The best soft coral-covered wreck is Hanakawa Maru , Tons of photos are posted on 8 sets :

  2. Nice pics Perry! Truk is no doubt awesome wreck diving!

I just got back myself and am forced to disagree with one point - I think the best way to experience Truk is on the Odyssey liveaboard. Pricier for sure, but a great boat, spacious, excellent guides, excellent food (plus an open bar!) and a great attitude. Park right over the wrecks and dive at your leisure and to your abilities. 4 dives/day plus a night dive no problem. This was my second trip and I'm already planning to go back!

  3. Agreed on The Odyssey, I've dome two trips over there on it.

Nothing to do on land, no real restaurants, etc.
