Big Blue 2x 30 watt LED Video Lights

1 posts
  1. It's Dave Bryant from DownUnder - Last year I bought a pair of Big Blue 2 x 30 watt LED Video lights and so far I've had no issues with them. I travel with them and though they aren't the best lighting unit out there, they do have a beautiful white light and wide beam, a pretty good burn time but yes the cables do often get in the way.

If you also use them, tell me if you've had concerns with them - have they broken? - have they gone off and on during diving? - are the cables still fine? - do you have any other concerns?

Why am I asking? - Big Blue want an Australian Distributor and I have indicated I'd like to be just that... but I have a friend who bought them from B&H and has issues with them... emailed Big Blue directly and was told he needed to send them back to the place of purchase. If other people are having concerns with these lights I'd like to know before I take on a dealership which poses to have enough headaches I wished I never did it in the first place. Looking forward to your replies.

    Dave Bryant, Melbourne, Australia.
