Strobes out of water

  1. I just got a pair of Inon S2000 and would like to practice shooting and positioning PRIOR to getting into the water.

As I believe water cools the stobes, and as I do not want to "burn up" my new strobes, are there any suggested methods for above water practice?

    just bought a d2000.

as the manual suggest, u can only try it with one flash.

If you shoot them at reasonable rep rates (like one flash every 20 seconds or so, 3/min) you will have no issues. I have used my s2000 as surrogate studio strobes at that rate more or less for several hundred shots in an afternoon for many days in a row with no issues.
