Which Picture is Better

  1. Which of the following pictures you think is better?

I personal like the Vingetting effect, but on other forums (Photosig for instance) it was heavely critizized.

Now I curious what your opinion is!

    Thanks Simon

  2. I think the crop is a lttle too tight. I'd crop it less and fix the dark corners through cloning. The vignetting calls too much attention to the camera for my taste.

  3. In my opinion the first one is better because it gives more proportion to the dolphins in the water and is detailed enough as is!

  4. I do like the composition of the 1st one, but Craig's right, the dark corners are distracting from the overall effect. Either crop them, or clean them up in Photoshop if you can, like Craig did.

  5. Have you considered cropping to obtain a vertical frame and positioning the mother grin (does she really grin?...I think so!) that is a major point of interest in this photo on a strong point (rule of thirds)?

  6. I agree the first shot is much better but the corners are distracting. As a curiosity are there actions or plugins that automatically can remove vignetting?
