Raja Ampat for sure, but Indo Pacific, not South Pacific. More variety than SP. Shots with corals and fishes, piers & corals & fishes, fishes and more fishes, shots with Wobbegong Sharks & corals; plenty of interesting underwater shapes of rock islands where a model can pose for WA, shots with "Reef and Rainforest" corals in foreground & sunbeams filtering through the trees behind; shots with Manta Rays, mangroves... seems endless. Even on the dive sites I consider macro sites there are still great WA possibilities.
The problem in Raja Ampat is not finding a good looking subject or scene for wide angle, it is deciding where to spend your time. Which scene is the best, most colorful or most interesting. There is a great amount of variety. 12 years now and I've never run out of interest in the scenes!
I did numerous trips in the South Pacific / Indo Pacific in 80's and 90's. All were mostly boring/frustrating for wide angle. When I went to Raja Ampat for the first time in '99, I was in WA heaven!

If you like wrecks, Truk Lagoon can't be beat. There's lots of life on the wrecks and I'm sure good macro if you look, but my 10-17 didn't leave my camera for the whole week!

My favourite WA site is my home dive site of Julian Rocks Byron Bay, Australia. Manta Rays and Leopard Sharks in the late summer and Grey Nurse Sharks in the winter/Spring months. 100% garrantee to have Wobbegongs all year round to the point that your sick of taking their photo. Lots of macro also and there is a part of Julian Rocks called Hugo's Trench where it is common to find over 15 different species of Nudibranch on a single dive.
My other favourite site is Fish Rock which is near the small town of South West Rocks. This place is awesome for Grey Nurse Sharks, where you can be among a school of over 70+ sharks in one spot at certain times of the year.
Shooting wide angle large animals on the East Coast of Australia and particular Northern NSW is far from boring as you can see in my flickr site posted below.
