Don't drink and Photoshop - NWS

  1. This last weekend I did some experimenting; playing with latex applications etc with some ideas for future projects. The images were a little funky to start, and then got a whole lot more funky after a couple of glasses of wine and some curve adjustments gone out of control.

So is this art? BTW, would curves adjustments like these disqualify my images in a competition?

  2. I much prefer them before you went crazy with the sliders. Great idea.

Dude, like whoa. You mean there can be a entire universe in my thumbnail?

    LOL

    Actually I like them, interesting.

  4. agree with greedo, great images.

Once upon a time when it was difficult to do that they would have been whoah! out there, but anyone with a bottle of pinot grigio and a mouse can do that now ) I love the originals though, great shots.

  6. radical dude...just think what you could do on something harder!

    I really do like them...kudos!

  7. In Vino Veritas

    Fun stuff.

  8. I like the top pair, Jeff. How about blending the face skin tones from the top image over the second image. I really like the funky colours in image 2, apart from the colours on the face.

Regarding competitions, it entirely depends on the rules.

  9. Your best yet!...have you tried a line of coke?

  10. Hey Jeff,

Great pics. Love 1 and 3 more than the vino creative stuff, BUT the second image does appeal a lot more to the eye than the 4th. I would definitely put up the 2nd image on my wall...Beautiful!

    Cheers,

Pretty good except not on the surface. :0

  15. Get your ass over here and I will show you. ;)

The thought of both of you in the same pool boggles the mind. I feel sorry for the models if that ever happens.

Would be fun to watch though.

    Awesome work Jeff.

    Cheers,

    Steve

  16. I am equally impressed by the photo's you show here and your ability to line up such wonderful models regularly.

  17. Thanks Dave; actually starting to be much more selective with my models. Very few are good underwater. The combination of being attractive, able to dance and perform, and being able to do it all comfortably underwater is rare. I do have an advantage locally with the theme parks etc, and Cirque du Soleil connections. One also learns to work with any strengths and around any weakness a model may have; for example the model in these images is not a dancer so one avoids showing too much in the way of feet and hands.
