Here are some pictures from my February trip to Bohol and Negros in the Philipinnes. It was my first trip with 7D, Nauticam and Z240. Comments are of course welcome. More pictures are available on http://www.pbase.com/borneobent/philippines_2011

That zebra striped Crinoid shrimp at the end is outstanding
Hi Mike
Phtography wise, Cabilao was by far my favourite of the three. I am already planning a return trip, 5 days there was not enough. The dives around the light house were among the best I have done, keeping in mind that nothing large is around. For non-muck macro Cabilao was simply excellent, with a lot of variety and many of the pretty rare stuff kind of easy to find. Alona was good at places, but not excellent, and I did not care to much for the land life while Dauin seemed to have been hit by a storm, sending most of the cool stuff deeper, thus being pretty slow. I plan to go to Cabilao next year in January and then stay for 10 days or so.
Thanks for your comment on the shrimp!

and, finally, these three:
Tiger shrimp
Wire coral shrimp
Bleached Entacmea
Wonderful collection Bent. I can see why you would go back.
Outstanding shots! I love the mantis shrimp eyes. The depth of field is just right.
If you don't mind my asking, what lens/close up lens combo did you use?

Hi
I used the new EF 100/2,8 L IS on all those shots. I do not really recall, but I am pretty sure that I used the SubSee diopter on the crinoid shrimp.

Hi Bent,
That is an outstanding collection of macro photos! Amazing DoF and the processing is absolutely beautiful. The wire coral shrimp image is my fav.
Very nice work.

Bent,
Awesome images! Haven't been back to Bohol in a while. Now I think I must! =)
