    Nice pics! I especially like the one of the turtle mid-bite - I don't remember seeing a photo like that before.

  6. Hi Gary,

    Don't know how I missed these the first time around. Can you tell me about the conditions; vis, sun, etc. I'm wondering about the blues you have in the background of a few. In general, I like the fish shots the best. The cuda, snappers and turtle shots in particular.

    Cheers,

    Steve

    Thanks Steve.

    All of the turtle shots were taken one day at Anthony's Key Resort as NCL uses them for their excursions in Roatan. The conditions couldn't have been better, well over 100' visibility, bright sunny skies and beautiful blue water. The only turtle shot I need to spend some more time on and adjust the blues is the one heading towards you with one Remora on it's back. It's a bit of a crop, I was too far away and didn't have enough strobe power.

    Do you mind a little tweak to hopefully improve your images a touch? I took a shot at improving the way the blues look, at least on my screen. I downloaded your file and adjusted the hue on the blue and the aqua about +17 and it looks a little more like the beautiful day that you described;

    I'm not recommendeding that this is the optimum settings, that is for you to decide, and it will be different for each image. I just wanted to show you the difference a little tweak can make.

    By the way, I had no problem downloading your full size 2.69 MB file off your Zenfolio site. You might want to change a setting or two there. :)

    Steve

  10. Hi Gary!

    #3 and #7 are my favourites.

    #16 and #17 are not working for me - weak negative space and the fish is swimming away

    Overall great collection and thanks for sharing!

    Cheers
