Nauticam macro ports

I'm in the process of buying a Nauticam housing for my recently purchased 7D.

Looking at the port chart I see there is a couple of options when it comes to ports for macro lenses. I've got a 60mm and 100mm, and my questions are:

1. Should I buy the dedicated macro ports or buy the compact port base and appropriate compact ports?

2. What are the pros and con of both set up. Ignoring for now the extra O ring with one set up.

Personally I prefer the macro port series. They might be a bit heavier when all is said an done, but you use the same bayonet style locking extension rings with the macro ports as you use with your dome ports, maximizing versatility.

I'd use Macro Port 41 for the 60, then add the appropriate extension for your 100.

The macro ports give you a built in 67mm thread for external diopters whereas the compact port solution allows you to use a 100mm Anthis woody adapter.

It's not clear to me why the larger bayonet style locking rings cannot be used on the wide end of the compact port base, they still lock into place on the compact port base.

add the regular Ext Ring 40 to the above combo to use with the 105mm VR instead of buying the the Compact Port Ext 40.

Need the Ext Ring 40 for the 10-17 + 1.4 anyway (if you have the Nauticam mini dome)

Am I missing something? it seems watertight and "lock-able".
