Class 10 cards

  1. I have heard that class 10 cards are not necessarily compatible with several cameras. In this case, I am concerned with its being okay for the Canon 7D. Also, while many have suggested I get the Sani Disc extreme card, others have mentioned the ProMaster brand. I am completely new to the DSLR world so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

A 7D uses CF cards. SD cards are rated in Class types but don't I believe that CF cards are rated like SD cards. I think you are going to want a UDMA rating on the card. I do agree with getting a San Disk and in this case the fastest is the Extreme Pro.
