A trip to the deep, 20nm off Cape Point (South Africa), to see the plentiful Blues & Makos which had been out in force every day before this had a surprise result when only one shark put in an appearance, and this for only around 10 seconds. Hour after hour passed with nothing coming in to investigate the baits. Luckily for me the beautiful Hanli Prinsloo, mermaid extroadinaire (current holder of every SA free-diving record), was on hand to conduct a Jellyfish Safari... not exactly what we set out to achieve but there you go!
Note the rain on the surface in the last picture... Not even the weather was on our side!
