Better WA-arms for DX-G1 compact camera?

  1. I'd like to try to get my YS110 strobe more outward and backward than I can now. Currently I use a set of the "Sea Arm VII Compact" that came with the camera.

But it seems expensive to expand that one, so I am thinking about getting one of these with an extra joint and length of arm.

Bad Idea? Any other suggestion for single strobe WA in silty waters?

    Cheers

  2. When I had my DX-1G and now with my G12 I use loc-line for my arms. I am currently using 2 x Sea & Sea 110 Alphas and these arms are excellent to use, they are quick and easy to place the strobe in any position and sturdy enough to hold them there. Also rather cheap to buy and you can add and remove pieces as required.

    Just another option to consider.
