I've been having some problems recently with my monitor. It works some times and then doesn't. Im having to disconnect it and then reconnect it to work again. Any one else have problems? Its just the standard monitor on a Phenom housing. Is this a connection problem? Battery? Thanks for any help.

Amphibico Monitor Problem

As with most subsea stuff I would start investigating the connector. If you are hands on do a continuity check with a multi-meter on the cable and connector. Take care to wiggle the connector tails as this is where the most likely failure point is.
If you don t have that equipment simply plug it in and see if you can replicate the failure by wiggling the connectors/cables.
Good luck.

I had the same problem with my external Amphibico monitor, 90 % change it is the wiring.
I changed the internal wiring which is in the housing itself, since then no problem.

I hope you can can fix it yourself because Amphibico in now closed. Unless the previous owners find quickly someone to take over, Amphibico will not be back in business.

Thanks. I'll definately look into your suggestions. Its funny because I had spoken to JC at Amphibico a few months ago about my monitor and was going to send it back when I was back in Canada...... Hopefully I can fix it here in Coz.
