  1. Curious to know what image people prefer.

    Many thanks for looking!

  2. #1 then #3 for me. The model in the first image almost looks like she is made from porcelain, although I think the same pose with a bit more light aimed towards her face would improve the shot. Very cool.

  4. Redheads definitely add pop to underwater images.

#1, the model appears to be the most in control; I'd try to add some light on camera to bring out some color in the dress.

#2, I find the most interesting with the reflection, though I would tone down the hotspot, and again add a little more light from below.

  5. Yes I can see how the suggested tweaks would improve the images. Will see what I can do. Much appreciate the feedback helps me to improve.

    Cheers

  6. Hi

My favourites is 1 and 4 pictures.

    Nice work.

  7. Okay I tried to tweak 1 & 2 in post to follow the above guidance. Hopefully next time I will work on getting it right in camera.

  8. Great! Love the back light on the models hair.

    Stobist:

    1) how was the lighting setup? It looks like you had two strobes on camera firing straight at the model? Theres very little contrast in the face. Try a single strobe further out to one side to get a bit more shadow and therefor depth on the models face.

1 and 3 are my favourites!

  9. Thanks Cal!

Had some technical difficulties with my 3rd strobe so these shots were down with 2 strobes.

One on camera strobe providing fill and the second strobe was on a lightstand that my wife Konnie was using as a boom, her directions were to put it over the models head as she submerged.

Used some really long TOSLINK cables so both strobes were fired via fiber.

Think I have "fixed" the problem with the 3rd strobe so hopefully my next set(s) improve.

    Cheers
