Can anybody advise me witch lens to use to shoot Manta's and Sharks in the Maldives?
I have Tokina 10-17 fish-eye and Sigma 10-20. I am afraid to use the fish-eye because off the distortion.

While rectilinear lenses are the best choice because they are the most versatile don't be afraid of fisheye lenses. They are useless unless you can get very close to your subject but they allow you to get very bright, high contrast images. Here is an example.

If you want to shoot sharks don't be surprised if you can't get close to them unless you are in a controlled feeding environment or on a CCR.
If i would buy a new WA lens, the Sigma 15mm F2,8 EX DG Diagonal-Fisheye would be the lens of my choice.
180° FOV with very low distortions makes this lens a very useful lens for under and above use.

I use the Tokina 12-24 mm and the zoom comes hand with shy or "snappy" creatures like sharks or moray eels.
Consider that you need at least a 8'' dome for any rectilinear lens to avoid using a diopter to get rid of strong soft corners.

Just to clarify, the Sigma 15mm fisheye is a great lens on a DX (D7000, D300 etc) camera, but only has coverage of about 110 degrees on those bodies. That said, in this configuration it is a great sharking lens, though, and will work really well behind almost any dome.
