A little test with the Lithium Ion battery pack from the Sola 600 photo – 7.2V / 2.100mAh.

Black curve: battery pack charged inside the sola with the normal delivered charger. After discharge we can see that the battery capacity has been 90%.
Green curve: pack charged outside sola with Mascot charger (2 cells Li-ion). After discharge the battery has been 100%.
So the charging off the battery packs are OK, also the capacity is OK.
Violet curve: controlling the rest capacity after a discharge with the sola600 @ full power with white leds. The rest capacity is none, after 47’ burn time.
Conclusion:
- The described burn time off 80’ is not real. The light consumes the provided energy totally.
- The delivered charger is not optimal but acceptable.
- The discharge times in the manual - specs are not correct. I measured also the current @ the tree power levels white!
So now the exact burn times off the recent Sola 600 (3 level red Sola 600).
2.6A @ white led level 3 = 48’ <> manual specs. Sola 600 = 80’
1.6A @ white led level 2 = 78’ <> manual specs. Sola 600 = 160’
0.6A @ white led level 1 = 210’ <> manual specs. Sola 600 = 320’
