I have two of the old ULCS (not the large 2" diameter, the narrower ones) in a 12" length. One has been wrapped with that self-fusing silicone tape and was usually used as a 'handle' spanning between the 2 tray arms, but the other is unmodified, and currently "spare". I think the ULCS part number is DB-B12, it does have the 1" balls with o-rings. Typical minor scratches/dings all over it of course, although anodizing looks unbroken. Haven't "inspected" the o-ring quality for some time, but as these are for clamp grip not any sort of water seal I'd use it until it fell off, then just try any old near-fit replacement anyway.
I couldn't find a buoyancy rating, but the double-diameter arms are considered +8.3oz in the 10-12" length, so this is probably +2.5-3oz or so buoyancy (doubling radius more than doubles volume displaced...but also increases aluminum mass, so it's got to be somewhere between +2 and +4oz; I'm too lazy to do more math than that.
).
Reef wants $55 new. I'd go $40 plus shipping via USPS (probably not worth insuring). Prefer paypal. PM me or rt (delete this space) remski (at symbol) sbcglobal (dot) net as email. Nick is "rtrski" on eBay as well if you want to check my feedback for honesty.
