My wife having upgraded, I have an almost complete camera/housing setup to sell.
Olympus e-330 (The first dSLR that has a working live view and a viewfinder. The camera has two sensors, one to take the picture and one to produce the liveview. That means zero autofocus, mirror flip and shutter lag using live view. Almost ALL new dSLRs can't do this. In addition a standard viewfinder is included. This is best for macro.
Olympus 14/45 lens. A good general purpose lens. Obviously, you can add additional lenses and ports. The Olympus macro lens is top quality and the 14/54 is probably the best general purpose lens (along with the sigma 17/70) out there.
Olympus Housing for e-330. A very compact housing especially designed for the e-330
UCLS single tray and 2 arms.
Athena ttl converter (The athena converts electrical signals from the camera's hot shoe to an external strobe. Cables for INON strobes (2) are included.
A variety of spares including a spare Athena
Needed to complete: Olympus port for 14/45, a strobe and and 3 UCLS clamps.
The e-330 is NOT a current model but is a unique camera due to the dual sensors that make underwater liveview a reality. The system was designed to be as small as the old Olympus point-and-shoot (c5050) while reducing the shutter lag and the write time for RAW capture. It is not really as small as a full sized point-and-shoot but the shutter lag and RAW write time are eliminated. The Athena does produce accurate TTL but is the weak point in the system, hence a spare.
I am asking $750 or best offer. If you simply add an INON s-2000 or other INON strobe, the port and clamps, you can have a full setup for less that $1500, possibly much less depending on how you do on the used market.
Even if you are comparing this to a new olympus XZ-1 with an olympus housing, by the time you add tray, arms, strobe and cables you will be over $1500. and will still have shutter lag, RAW write wait time and no viewfinder.
You should know that the Olympus line of dSLR's is probably deadended. The line started with the e-330 and progressed to the current e-620. Lenses ports and accessories are still available because they are interchangable with the newer models. The newest, e-620, has more pixels but does not have the same dual sensor setup so there is probably no upgrade path beyond this camera if you want zero lag, zero RAW write time lag in a dSLR. Your option is to adjust to a viewfinder or get no viewfinder with a mirrorless camera.
This setup is used, has been underwater repeatedly from the Carribean to Indonesia. Lots of great pictures.
