  1. Hey guys these are some recent shots that I have taken on the Great Barrier Reef and also around home on the Gold Coast.

  2. Great shots, all a little bit different to your standard ones. I like the line of fish on the top left of the first one, and the dark background to your anemonefish. Nice diversity of corals over the reef - how close did the shark come?

  3. They are all very good, but the wave shot is very cool! Nice work.

    Cheers.

That is as close as I could get to the little black tip unfortunately.

  7. Not bad, but some are out of focus :-)

  8. Thanks for the comments.

The clown fish shot was taken with just one strobe as a posed to my normal two but it came out with lots of shadow that I think gives good dimension.

  9. Nice shots. Considering how large The Great Barrier Reef is and how many divers visit we rarely see any photos from there here on wetpixel

Kenneth that is a very interesting point that you have made. When I was working on the reef a few months ago I really only had a few people with an SLR setup over a six week period. Although I was mainly working on a day boat which usually caters to back packers but even still I thought I may have seen more. Granted It was only over a six week period but when I have been diving overseas it seems that every second person has the whole SLR set up.

  11. Very nice shots, I am more of a WA shooter, but that clown rocks!!!
