Connecting external monitor to D7000

  1. If you connect an external monitor to the d7000 by hdmi output.

Will it have the same way of using Live view. ( Switching the screen on and off if you take a photograph ) ...

I would use the monitor instead of the viewfinder to take pictures. But if it is the same as live view, The screen pops on and off, you cant see trough the viewfinder and in live view you have focusing problems and have shutter lag if you take pictures.

Can anuyone help me with this, especially with the new monitors at dema.

I will not use it for video but for photographing...

  2. Yes, it is similar to live view, you won't be able to use the viewfinder when the screen is on as the mirror will be up.
