This is the time of year in Central California when conditions get really variable. When it's bad you can't go diving due to wind and waves. When it's good it's magical. Saturday was in the magical category with 100 foot visibility, schools of blue rockfish above the california hydrocoral and huge clouds of sea nettle jellies.

Terrific visibility with the nettles. I really need to get up to Monterey for some diving this winter season.
