First time in the ocean with my new rig

  1. Yesterday was my first day with my new equipment, wasn't the best shots I have taken but was really fun, I still have a lot to learn.

I need to get back in the pool and practice more with strobe positioning, the backscatter was a real mess on this dive.

The zoom stop working near to the end of the dive, but now thanks to Mark (Aussiebyron) I know what I was doing wrong.

The other problem I got, I don't know if I can call it a problem, was that after the first shot I was unable to review the image, the button didn't work.

I'm using the AE-L/AF-L button to focus, I noticed that I need to move the lever back in order to stop pressing the button of the camera, after doing that I was able to review the shots without problem.

And here are a few shots.

This looks like a coral, I don't know if really is a coral of cold water.

This is a mayor crop, I was unable to get close and get a better angle.
