  1. I just returned from a trip to Fiji. I stayed on Matangi, close to Taveuni, and shot macro for the whole stay. Here are a few of the shots.

  2. Erwin - Nice set of macro pictures. How hard was it to just shot macro for an entire week? I hope you had a grea time on your trip. I love the color contrasts on many of your shots. Great job. I had a few favorites and it should show up on your flickr acct which ones I added. The fourth one down is one of my favs - along with another one in that set.

    Thanks for sharing - DiverPam

  3. Hi Erwin,

Looks like you had a great time! Lots of new fish that look wonderful. What happened to one of your strobes that forced you to shoot with one?

    Cheers,

    Steve

  4. Thanks Pam and Steve.

Steve, the fitting on one of my strobes was not tight, and it flooded, so I was left with one strobe. I figured that one strobe would be problematic with my Tokina 10-17 wide angle lens, so I decided to concentrate on macro. Either wide angle or macro photography would have been fine for most of the dives, so it was a chance to practice my closeup stuff. I am bummed about the strobe, but it can be replaced, and I was still able to do lots of great diving and take pictures, so no complaints!
