    Hi Edwin,

I have two that I'm not going to use, in perfect condition and would be willing to sell, they are Optical D Cable Type L (43cm). I can send you pics if you want. I've been using them on the D2000 strobes, I believe they are the same cables for the z's.

    Hi Edwin,

I'll post a pic of them later when I get home. One of them is less than a year old, only been on one trip, and the other is ~ 1.5 yrs old. I paid $160 total for both of them. I'll accept $105 with free shipping.

    Hi Edwin,

Tried to send this via MSG but wouldn't let me. Sorry it took so long, been kind of crazy here. I forgot that one of the cables has the straight connector and the other a 90degree. If that's a problem for you we can work something out for just the one you want. Otherwise....here's the pic.

  6. Steve, I have the older Z-240 Type 3 with the 15mm diameter non-wireless plug.

It seems your L cable is the new wireless type for the Type 4 that will not fit my Type 3. Are the D2000 strobes you were using the cables with Type 4?

If the straight cable has the 15mm plug, then it will fit my strobe, but if you were using it for a Type 4 D-2000, it will not.

In essence I need an older style 15mm non-wireless connector for Type 3 strobes, and your newer cables would require the separately supplied non-wireless 15mm connector that was originally supplied with the cable (part 7 in the second link). Do you have it?

    Edwin,

Good thing you checked. Yes, I use these on type4's and I purchased them with the Cap set, which I don't believe comes with that additional connector to adapt to the type 3's. I will check when I get home tonight or tomorrow for you. My sense is if I do have any it would only be one as I bought the second cable separate. But I'll check.
