  1. Photoshop Tutorials for newbie

I recieved Photoshop Lite with my printer & as a newcomer :? was wondering if there is any support for using this program with underwater digital images in mind. I can do the basics but i'm sure i'm missing out on a lot.

    Any ideas?

  2. Checkout the Adobe website, there may be a tutorial or links to one.

If not come back and we'll sort some for you :)

  3. The Adobe site, like others, gives help on general use but i can't find specific help. For example:

In the images i have taken to date, i need to:-

    1/ Remove back scatter

2/ Remove the stong blue hue

    3/ Remove unwanted objects

4 Adjust the colours to make the image realistic

It seems to me that there must be an version, plug in or something that has features particular to UW images?

  4. No discrimination over/UW in any imaging software.

Ok, the cloning or healing tools are good for scatter removal.

ALT/LCLICK a similar area, relocate over scatter particle then LCLICK. It is important to get as close as you can to the area you need to patch so it stays anon.

Removal of blueness can be done in several ways. Mixing, Colour balance, Selective Colour etc. Not sure what the lite program has at its disposal.

Again you can use the clone/healing way or cut & paste.

Colours can be adjustedas above, singularly. Hue & saturation adjustment is useful too, preventing BIZARREness.
