  1. I've just come back from a trip aboard Emperor Elite visiting the Northern wrecks and Brothers Islands and it was a fantastic trip!

At big Brother we saw threshers on 4 dives out 5 (first time for me) though they were mostly on the edge of visibility and didn't hang around long. Still it was a privilege to be in the water with them - they are so graceful

On a side note this is the second time I've booked through emperor and they are an extremely professional outfit. The boat crew and dive guides (Daniela and Csaba) went out of their way to accommodate our requests and make the trip as fun as possible. I cannot praise them enough

Anyway here are the pics, let me know what you think please! (as you can see I'm a black and white nut)

  2. forgot to mention the setup I used is a canon g10 in a canon housing with a inon D180 strobe. First time using this strobe and am pretty happy with it :)

  3. Fabulous work Grech...I love black and white too........but your images are really special.

    Lovely eye you have sir!

    Well done.

  4. Great B&W collection. The second jellfish shot is the winner for me.

  5. thanks for the comments guys :)

I try to find different angles and unusual compositions where ever possible (especially with subjects like the rays which are hard to photograph differently to just plain flat!)
