Flathead from Lembeh Strait

  1. Anyone know what species of flathead this might be? It's from Maka Wide in the Lembeh strait.

    I realise it's difficult because of the sand covering it and the lack of a full body shot, but maybe we can narrow it down. Inegocia japonica, Rogadius patriciae and Rogadius pristiger appear to be possibilities.

  2. Looks like a Japanese flathead to me.

     

    Also the dive site is usually referred to as Makawide, one word. The site to the north is Makawide 1 and to the south is Makawide 2
