All these new 8mp cameras, someone enlighten me...

  1. All these new 8mp cameras, someone enlighten me...

    Sony, Nikon, Canon, Minolta. Do they all use the same Sony CCD sensor?

  2. Yes. All same sensor.

     

    But they do not implement the rest of the circuitry and image firmware the same, so will almost certainly produce quite different results.
