A stupid question to ask?
HI all,
I have a rather stupid question to ask.
If you were to set a Strobe on TTL mode and your camera is set in manual mode, will the exposure come out correctly?
Thanks

It's not impossible.
You'll have to specify the camera, housing, stobe(s), subject... to get a meaningful answer.
Okay...
Just say I'm use a S2Pro in a ikelite housing with two Ikelite 100a Substrobe connected via sync cord (1 housing to 2 strobe). If I have put the substrobe in the TTL mode and I have set the shutter speed to 1/90 it that possible?
Most cameras still provide TTL when set to manual. The S2Pro certainly does. Setting strobes to manual will avoid TTL............
Ike is correct.
The Fuji S2 has a different set of 5 meters for the flash. These are the "ttl" meters that read the flash light - only when the shutter is open.
The light meters that read the background light are different - they are "on" all the time and set the shutter speed and/or aperture.
The two systems aren't related on the S2 when using underwater strobes, so the camera light meter does not "talk" to the strobes.
