nikkor 85mm 1/8 or 1/4 for UW use?

Anyone tried either lens underwater? Pros/Cons?

I have a 85mm 1.4 that I us to shoot my daughters HS basketball games. It's a great portait and indoor sports lens and Ive been tempted to use it U/W but the minimum focus distance is 3 ft and that sort of limits it's usefulness U/W.

I'll second Larry/Lionfish on this, the one thing you need to do is get close to your subject and reduce the water collumn between you and your subject, that is why it's allmost always the macro lens or the widest lens that will make it in your housing. otherwise top side it is my favorite lens.
