  1. using digi SLR at silverbanks

I just got invited to go to Silverbanks to photograph the whales :D

I am looking for some "digital" tips and hopefully some S2 specific tips from anyone who has been there.

    Kndest Regards

  2. Chris,

Not digital specific but tips on photographing whales. Use your 12-24 zoom it should work pretty well. You will probably be shooting at the 20-24mm end but you will have the flexibility to shoot at 12mm if one (or two) swim past you. From everyone I have spoken to the Sliverbanks (I have only been to Rurutu) have a lot of Humpbacks have a great time and post some pics when you get back.
