I like your work! The silhouettes are great
Hi Hamid
Just love your photos.. I real different point of view on the standard. The nudi on the reef with the sun ball is incredible.
Please tell the gear you use. Not that it matters..

Hey thanks a lot,
Most of the photos were taken with a Canon 600d / Nauticam housing / single z240. Some of the older photos were taken with either a G9 / Ike housing or G12 / FIX housing.
I like minimalism as i think it makes UW photography much more accessible to a wider public.
Please feel free to share the link !

Maybe the speed of my internet but it took 3 times to load your site...once there...you should be very proud. Those are great shots.
Thanks a lot, the loading should have improved now ![]()
I like the fish eye shot with the mangrove tree, looks like its a planet...
Hey everybody,

great shots!
the macro stuff of the corwn of thorns and coral looks surreal
Amazing work. I think the available light shots set you apart from the ordinary.

It's good, but "minimalism"? I like your focus on the important subject, but I think that "minimalism" is something much more extreme, much more artificial and perhaps not so applicable to what is, fundamentally, wildlife photography.
Is this minimalism? The detail on the shell makes it something else, I think...
Hey thanks guys for the comments.
tdpriest, I believe the use of 'minimalism' to define my work is very subjective, and I the general idea is to have a more basic approach of UW photography, in opposition to most UW 'illustrative' work you see in magazines and such, aiming towards technically good shots, and often missing the instinctive & emotional aspect of it all.
Simple is beautliful in my opinion. Your turtle shot is minimalistic only if you think it is, again it's all about subjectivity and point of view.
Merry minimalistic Xmas and Happy New Year !

Very nice! Especially like the sunburst mangrove tree shot.
Call it what you like, it's exceptional and speaks for itself........1200 hits and I bet you've sold some already!
Impressed a noob like me that's for sure Hamid.
Thanks for the glimse man..................
Hey Damon! I did sell a few already, hopefully more in the future... Easier said than done, but i have good hope.
Thanks a lot for the kind comment, I'm real glad you like my work, and by all means, feel free to show it around!
Take it easy,
H.
Hey Elastek,
I LOVE the one of the school of jacks looking up towards the light. So much emotion in that shot in particular, it's wonderful.
Hey friends !
My brand new website is up & running, still in Beta version and loads more photos to come. Thoughts, comments, suggestions are welcome !
