For Sale: Salvo Dual 35W HID Video Light Setup

  1. For Sale: Salvo 15.6 Amp Li-ion Dual 35W HID Video Light Setup complete with E/O cords, "Y" connector, charger.

I purchased this system back in 2008 and honestly never used it as much as I wanted. It's a very bright, very durable canister setup for video. It was never used in salt water, only fresh. Bulbs should still have a great deal of life left. Everything is in very good condition. Bulbs show a little "browning" around the white base from the heat of these bulbs but that's normal.

This is an excellent video setup for technical diving. The underwater pluggable connection allows you to unplug the light heads and use the battery to power a handheld light or drysuit heater. The 35W HID heads throw off enough light to easily accommodate dark environments. Salvo is no longer in business, but the design of the lights is very similar to that used by other companies. I'm sure a number of other light manufacturers (Light Monkey in particular) would have no problem modifying the light or providing parts (extra battery?) if that was ever needed.

$1800 and I'll cover shipping anywhere in the 48 states (UPS Ground). Paypal.

I'll take photos soon and post these.

(Note: I also have some various ULCS arms for attaching the lights to your housing of choice. If you are interested in these as well let me know and I'll come up with a separate price for these.)

  2. I'm attaching several photos. I can provide current burn test results on the battery if you are interested in the setup.

  3. Ok, I’m lowering the price to $1600 and I’ll include the ULCS arms (picture attached) and clamps/balls in the purchase price. I purchased the light setup and arms/clamps new and have been the only owner/user. This is an awesome setup for video. I can’t imagine you will find this might light output for a cheaper price.

The light arms are 8" long from the middle of the ball tip to middle of the other ball. The reason for the width is to give these some buoyancy and help hold up larger light heads underwater.
