Athena Dome for PT-020 and C5060

First look at some test pictures taken with the C5060, WCON-07 in a PT-020 with the Athena OPD-100 dome port.

Very nice. I do like the WCON-07. Miles better than in quality than the TCON.

On domes generally. Does anyone know if it would be possible to use the standard lens behind that dome to improve distortion @ 27mm? Is there enough lattitude in dome/lens design or is it critical to have lens and dome matched?

Reason for asking is I've seen some shots of the standard lens behind the flat port with quite bad distortion at full wide.

So when is the Athena shipping, I thought it was only in prototype?

I'd like a dome for the standard lens as well. It should work well, but it needs to be a different dome than one designed for the WCON-07.

For correcting PPO-01 distortion the PanoTools work surprisingly well. Try it!
