Hugyfot Ports

  1. Hi,

Does anybody know exactly what material the Hugyfot ports are made from?

    Thanks,

    Lawrence

  2. Hugyfot Ports are made of:

    - Plan Ports: Delrin (or similar) and acrylic or glass front window

    - Dome Port: Delrin (or similar) and acrylic dome while the minidome is made of optical glass

  3. Thanks Chris,

It's the material of the body of the ports that I'm interested in. So Delrin, or similar. Can anyone confirm or deny this?!

  4. LJM,

the extention rings and plan ports are made of a black slippery plastic looking like Delrin.

I don't know exactly what plastic it is but Delrin makes the most sense because of it's properties.

The port lock bajonet on their minidome is made of aluminium, the rest of this plastic.

    Chris

  5. You could always ask this guy: Pascal Eeckhoudt <Pascal.Eeckhoudt@leys.be>

  6. Thanks for the tip John; Pascal confirmed that the material is indeed Delrin. Thanks everyone for the input.

  7. Hmmm. That is disapointing. I thought they were made from real ninjas.
