Portable Storage - Sony Picturebook

  1. Portable Storage - Sony Picturebook

Does anyone use one of these?

There are a lot of older C1X and C1XS Picturebooks selling on Ebay for between $400 and $500. It seems like you could pick one up and put in a larger HD and you'd have a darned good tool for portable storage!

Does it matter how fast the processor is? How would it fare w/ 128megs of ram, could you load and run XP?

As tax time approaches, people start dumping stuff on Ebay and it seems like one of these or one of the slicker models would be a fun "toy."

    Cheers
