40th Birthday Trip

OK Wetpixel, last year my wife turned 40 and we went to Yap, Palau and Guam (yes, I know the last sounds wierd, but I got some cool footage of the commercial sub).

Next year is my 40th and I'd like your recommendations on where to go.

My two thoughts right now are Tahiti (resort where you're staying in bungaloes out on the water as seen in the latest IMAX) and Bali/Wakitobi. I want plentiful diving plus a decent resort. I'll be shooting video and stills. We'll probably go for 2-3 weeks.

Bali is beautiful and has great diving. Women like it for the shopping, ect. It's cheap with very nice resorts right on the beach. Excellent diving as well. Have not been to Tahiti. May be wrong but I don't think it is a primo diving local like Bali can be.
