using inon d180 with sea& sea dx 3000

i am using a sea&sea dx 3000 which is a housed ricoh rr30 3.23mp digicam.

im thinking of buying a inon d180 but am not shure if the camera will fire the strobe correctly , also as the camera has limited manual functions id like to know how the strobe would peform.

and connecting the fibre optic cable is another issue .

is there anyone out there using the inon strobe with a dx3000? if so how is it peforming .

does anyone have any comments to other strobes to use if this set up wont work .

i did want a strobe with a modeling/focus light.
