4 Gb micro drive in a cheap MP3 player

A friend of mine just told me about a cheap MP3 player that has an internal 4 Gb micro drive that can be removed and used in a camera. Here's the link to the story...

Has anyone heard of this before or better yet, tried it? I'm curious if there are any issues.

There are a bunch of Nomad MuVo's on Ebay for sale with no hard drive.
