Getting Started....

Looking for a 'how-to' for digital u/w photography. I'm leaving my Nikonos V behind for a Fuji S2 with Ikelite housing (I have a N80 with Ikelite, so can reuse lenses and ports - plus S2 supports TTL). Any suggestions welcome....

Your columns have all been very helpful in the past. How about a suggestion for next months column: DSLR settings.

There has been some lively discussion on the board lately and when the rebel came out about the best modes to shoot in and would love to hear your informed opinion.

in particular:

what iso, shutter speed, aperture, white ballance settings

Does shutter speed matter or do you use strobe to control shutter speed?

Do you use any custom curves in camera or in post processing?

What is your metering technique? Do you meter on the water background or the subject etc.?
