Hi,
I playing with the Idea of upgrading one of my INON Z240 with light bulb Pilot Lights to LED.
The reason for it would be to get a bit of light out for some Snooting photography.
There should be more light coming from the Pilot that way. ( I am considereing the Retra Version for INON as a Snoot.)
What is the experience of doing this upgrade out there?
Does it help?
Do I risk the Strobe?
/Erik
Hi Erik,
I see you live in Munich? in case you do not want to do the upgrade yourself, there is a guy in Austria who can do it for you (5W LED); costs 95 EUR:

www.uw-fotopartner.de and www.mike-dive.de might also be helpful.
No idea if 5WLED is enough for snoot photography, but why not simply use Photoshop for that kind of pics, hehehe...
Greetings,
Jock
Thanks, but I know where it can be done.
I am just not sure how much the KED helps. Snooting with an Offset Pilot light is surely not optimal.
However, the LED should bring out a lot of more power. So, it should atleast be better...
If I have understood it correctly. This rework/upgrade is not really a sanctioned by INON.
Is there a technical background for it?
