Can someone explain what the 3 LED's on the DS-125 mean?
That's the battery level indicator.
Yes, but how do you read it? I have found no logical pattern.
On the SS200, each light represented "one roll of film" worth of full power shots.
On the DS125, I find it to be more like each light = 50 shots. Maybe more, but why push your luck.
Cheers
James
When you have the switch on test, the number of LEDs lit indicates how many approx "rolls" (36 exposure blocks) you can shoot with the remaining battery power. It is conservative. If you have the switch on on, the middle LED is the ready light.

Ahh thats it. I was gona Say, it was allways on 2 untill it stops working but thats because It is ON. I have been using - when it starts making noise it is about empty. But that doesnt give me much warning.
Never new what test was for. I guess that is what should have been my question.
Does it take into account the power setting? On the Strobe? On the Manual Controoler?
I think it's easier to think of the indicator as full, 2/3 and 1/3 rather than in terms of shots. The relation to shots is based on full dumps regardless of your power setting.
In general, I will change batteries at the very least when the indicator gets down to 1. If I'm going to use the spotting light, I want it fully charged.
