  1. Hi,

    This is my 4th post.

I'm currently a Nauticam user and about to move to Seacam.

Before getting them, does anyone know if there are any other brand make ports for seacam?

and I was just wondering does seacam macro diopter worth to buy?

    Thank you

  2. Hi Rey,

Why do you want to change from Nauticam to Seacam? Most people are moving in the opposite direction. You don't say which camera you want to put in the housing. That might help as there is some used Seacam gear floating around. If you are more specific about which ports and extension rings you are looking for, I or someone else might be able to help you find what you are looking for. Another thing you could do is have a good machine shop make you an adapter which would allow you to use your Nauticam ports on a new Seacam housing. You simply take an extension ring from each system, cut off the front part of one and the rear part of the other, and then join the two halves you need with an o-ring seal. This would work for most lenses except fisheyes. A machine shop can also make you a simple adapter so that you can use your Nauticam viewfinders on a Seacam housing. I did that on my Seacam D700 housings. And did it again when I changed to Subal for the D800. If you are interested in the D700, I have two Seacam D700 housings that I would like to sell.
